The 2000 release of the Gold Edition of the Master Municipal Construction Documents provided a solid foundation for widespread adoption of the standard specification, drawings, and contract documents across British Columbia.

The Gold Edition consists of a three volume set covering the Standard Specifications and User Guides.

• Details the documents which constitute a MMCD Standard Tender Package, instructions on preparing the package for a successful Tender process, and Guidelines for working with the Standard Specifications through the Tender process.
• MMCD Standard Specifications - (Vol. II)
  
• Provides the Standard Specifications referenced in a MMCD Tender Package. This volume is necessary for all parties involved in a project utilizing a MMCD Contract.
• Construction Contract Administration Manual - (Vol. III)
  
• Provides detailed instruction on operating a project within the intent of the MMCD collaborative initiatives for Contract Administration and Dispute Resolution.
