MMCDA supports initiatives in infrastructure specification, processes and records. One recent research project examples is the new MMCD Templates for AutoCAD Civil-3D a research project which began in 2008 and is now providing a consistent framework for infrastructure records.

Earlier examples are our Green Design Guidelines supporting the green alternatives to some conventional design criteria for municipal infrastructure (2005).

Our emphasis on research has led to a partnership with the BCIT Centre for Infrastructure Management (CIM) to seek new infrastructure topics.
