MMCD Asset Data Exchange Standard Project Complete

Tuesday, February 16, 2016

The MMCD Asset Data Exchange Standard project is complete and the standardized files and supporting documentation are now ready for download.

The MMCD Asset Data Exchange Standard is built on the MMCD Municipal CAD Standard and introduces tools for attributing both existing (infrastructure affected by the project) and newly designed and constructed infrastructure assets.

The end result is a single source infrastructure data submission to the local government with both physical properties and lifecycle management attributes.

The MMCD Asset Data Exchange standard is created with AutoCAD Civil 3D 2015 and supersedes the 2013 version of the MMCD Municipal CAD Standard.

We are distributing the MMCD Asset Data Exchange Standard via a Knowledge App (kApp, formerly rGuide). The following link is for a self registration page which creates your personal kApp Digital Library.  The Digital Library contains the following kApps:

  1. MMCD Asset Data Exchange Standard
  2. MMCD Municipal CAD Standard
  3. MMCD Municipal CAD Standard Update (July 2013)

The C3D DWT and supporting files in the MMCD Asset Data Exchange Standard kApp supersede the C3D DWT and supporting files in the MMCD Municipal CAD Standard kApp. If you already registered for the MMCD Municipal CAD Standard in the past and still have access to your Digital Library, then the MMCD Asset Data Exchange kApp is now in your Digital Library and registration using the link below is not required.
