Notice: Blue Book “Guidelines to Rental Rates”.
Our office often receives questions about whether the Blue Book rental rates include profit.
This notice is confirmation that profit is not included in rental rates in the current editions of the BC Road Builders Blue Book
Please refer to pages 18 & 19 of the 2021 edition. The descriptions show the inclusions for the rate categories. At the end of each paragraph for the various types of rental rates, previous documents had profit as an inclusion.
This has been removed as these rates never intended to included profit.
