New MMCD Digital Documents

Tuesday, August 9, 2022

The MMCD Association is pleased to announce two new additions to the Documents Store, now available for purchase, exclusively in digital format.

MMCD 2019 Edition RFP Version

MMCD 2019 Edition RFP Version was created in response to increasing interest in using a “Request for Proposals” (RFP) procurement method. As originally drafted, the MMCD documents were a full suite of documents intended for use through a competitive tender, leading to a formal construction contract. The suite included: Invitation to Tenderers; Instructions to Tenderers; Form of Tender; Agreement; General Conditions; Specifications and Standard Detail Drawings.

The new RFP Version includes updates to the General Conditions and definitions as they apply to the RFP process, and a set of RFP forms, as follows:

(a)    the RFP replaces the Instructions to Tenderers, Parts I and II; and

(b)     the Form of Proposal replaces the Form of Tender.

The RFP Form of Proposal is available, free of charge, as a fillable PDF on the MMCD Forms and Templates Page.

MMCD Design Guidelines 2022

The MMCD Design Guidelines 2022 is the first update to the Design Guidelines since amalgamating the 2014 Design Guidelines and the “Green” Design Guidelines in 2017. Extensively reviewed and updated by engineering firm, Aplin & Martin Consultants, the 2022 edition incorporates updates to the stormwater and climate change sections, and updated external linkages to various standards and government resources.

The Design Guidelines 2022 is available exclusively in digital format (desktop and mobile), as well as a new server license. Pricing information can be found in the MMCD Documents Store.
